Set in the far future where there is no scientific progress, only dogma and war, the forces of humanity are beset on all sides by aliens and heretics. Yet worst of all is when the great Imperium of humanity’s factions vie for power and control, seeing each other as obstacles to glory. This is where the Inquisition steps in, and nobody wants to deal with the Inquisition.

This story revolves around an abandoned Orbital Installation, high above a megacity in the throws of rebellion. You are a solider of the Astra Militarum, one of countless millions across the galaxy. Kidnapped by the Inquisition, you are forced to become an Investigator, sent on a mission to explore the Orbital Installation.

What you find there will change the course of humanity’s future.

What’s in the book: a 3-phase game with 6 different endings set across detailed levels of the station, character sheets and creation tables along with Liminal Horror rules, encounter and radio transmission tables, many monsters to fight, 30 detailed handouts, and an Investigator Manual to give to players with reference rules and character sheets to write on.

What it’s good for: a short dungeon crawler campaign that takes place in-game over a day or two, 6-8 sessions, people that like sci-fi horror but want to poke about investigating what happened in their own time, partake in morally grey decision-making with galactic consequences.

Inspirations: a mash-up of the games Dead Space, Resident Evil, Signalis, SOMA. TTRPG influences are The Bureau by Goblin Archives, ARC by Momatoes, PRESSURE by Osprey Games
